Recognition of Joseph J. Mika and Ronald R. Powell

Whereas the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science (JELIS) is the official publication of the Association of Library and Information Science Education (ALISE), and

Whereas Joseph J. Mika (1995-2004) and Ronald R. Powell (1995-2000) have served in the capacity of editors of said journal, and

Whereas their editorship enhanced the overall quality and timeliness of said journal, and

Therefore be it resolved that the association expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude for their service in stewardship of the journal and their contributions to ALISE.
