Candidate's Statement:
As a member of ALISE for more than a decade, I see ALISE moving to a more inclusive environment with international colleagues being more present in organizational initiatives and processes.

As a member of the ALISE Executive Board I will be committed to gathering intersecting committees together to build relationships to further member engagement, in alignment with ALISE Strategic Direction 2 which expands ALISE's vision as it "expands its membership base, enhances membership value to both individuals and institutions, and enriches member engagement." I envision the organization becoming more actively connected with sister organizations such as IFLA and CILIP as a step forward to solidifying international relationships and presence within LIS discourse.
