Job Description

The Graduate School of Library and Information Studies department in Queens College is currently conducting a search for an Open Rank title.

In support of the campus mission, strategic plans and values, Queens College seeks to fill one or more tenure track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor vacancies in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies (GSLIS), starting from the 2022 Fall semester.

Job Duties

Assistant/Associate/Full Professors perform graduate-level teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise.

Full-time faculty generally teach one or more of the core courses. They share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.
