In recent years LIS faculty have made concerted efforts to create more inclusive programs, classrooms, and curricula. While already difficult, this work has been further challenged by pushback - including from state legislatures and boards of education stymying or even dismantling DEI programs - potentially resulting in chilling effects for faculty. This session will discuss these challenges and explore ways to move forward.
