Program Director/Ranked Faculty, Master of Library & Information Science Program Department/CollegeSchool of Humanities, Arts and Sciences DatesOpening Date: 01/24/2025 Job DescriptionThe Master of Library and Information Science Program in the School of Humanities, Arts and Sciences at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full time, tenure-track, 12-month position with a preferred start date of Summer 2025. Rank offered will be commensurate with experience of the applicant. As the only ALA-accredited program in Minnesota, the MLIS Program is a fully online program that educates students in the principles, practices, and ethics of library and information science and prepares them to be active leaders in a rapidly changing information society. The program is deeply committed to authentic learning, community engagement, inclusive excellence, and social justice. The Program Director is responsible for visionary leadership, strategic direction, and management of the MLIS Program. The Director oversees program development, faculty recruitment and mentoring, student recruitment and retention, curriculum review, and accreditation compliance, as well as represents the Program with academic, professional, and broader community groups. The Program Director teaches 2 courses per year. Job Duties
